Woodstock Fair Cornhole Tournament

The first Woodstock Fair Cornhole Tournament will take place on Monday, Sept. 2, Labor Day, in the new Center Stage area during the Woodstock Fair.

The first round of the event will take place beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 2.

The teams will be seeded as entries are received.

In other words, the first entry received will be the No. 1 team, etc….

The schedule, pairings and rules that the tournament will follow will be available on woodstockfair.com in August.

The number of rounds to be played will be determined by the number of participants.

There is a separate fee to participate in the Cornhole Tournament.

The cost is $50 per team (2-player teams) or $25 per person. This does not include entry into the Fair or parking. Entry fees are non-returnable.

This is an open tournament, teams can consist of two males, two females, or a mixed team.

Entrants must be 16 years of age or older.

Teams must provide their own bean bags; the Woodstock Fair will provide the cornhole boards.

The winning team will be awarded the $3000 first-place prize by check upon completion of the tournament. The second-place team will receive $1000 and third place $500.

The Woodstock Fair would like to thank Jewett City Savings Bank for being the sponsor of not only the first cornhole tournament at the Fair but also the Center Stage area for the entirety of the Fair.

The Woodstock Fair would also like to thank the Pomfret Recreation Department for its help in making this event possible.

Please fill out the registration form and return it to the Woodstock Fair via mail.

The Woodstock Fair looks forward to welcoming all participants in the first Woodstock Fair cornhole championship!
